CHURCH TELEPHONE NUMBER – We have a new telephone number for the church which is
0141 370 8193, unfortunately we were unable to retain the old telephone number due to the flooding in the church house and having to have the phone reinstalled in the church. If you phone the landline, you will be connected to St Marie Goretti’s Church house.
CIRCLE OF FRIENDS – Will continue for the next two Wednesdays in preparation for First Communion on 19th May 2024.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY – is available to primary school children each Sunday.
SUNDAY CAFÉ – Continues this week and this week it will be run by The Justice and peace group , next week it will be run by Stacey and Karen Butler. The café can only continue if people to use it. Please consider coming for down and joining in to socialise with your fellow parishioners.
CHURCH REPAIR FUND – The fund continues to grow and we hope to have work started on the church soon.
THE FEAST OF THE ASCENSION OF THE LORD – will be on Thursday this week 9th May 2024 at 09.30am and is a Holy Day of Obligation. The children of Our Lady of Peace will be joining us for the mass.
SECOND COLLECTION – Next Sunday there will be a special collection for World Communications Day.
HALL LET – We now have two regularweekly lets one on Mondays and one on Wednesdays, the lets are for an Irish Dancing Class and will run in the early evening.
THEFT – We recently had a parishioner have money stolen from a handbag. Please take extra care of your belongings and be vigilant of anyone acting suspicious.
MULTI CULTURAL MASS – There will be a meeting after mass on 12th May for all those interested in helping prepare for our International Mass which will take place on June 2nd.
PPC MEETING – There will be a meeting of the Parish Pastoral Council on Monday 7th May at 7pm in the hall.

MARY’S MEALS: Please come along to a Coffee Morning in aid of Mary’s Meals at Pauline Books and Media, St Enoch Square, Glasgow on Thursday 9th May or Saturday 11th May from 11am to 2pm.
