OUR NEED OF THE SPIRIT – After the Ascension of Jesu, the apostle went back to Jerusalem and ‘joined in continuous prayer’ as they awaited the coming of the Holy Spirit. We are gathered here to do the same today. Without the Holy Spirit we cannot live the Christian life of discipleship.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNIONS 2026 – We welcome our parish children, their parents, families, teachers and friends to our celebration of First Holy Communion at 10am Mass. We pray that our children may always remain close to Jesus our ‘bread of life’
CAMP OUT FOR HOPE – Aid to the Church in Need (CAN) Scotland invites you to an all night prayer vigil at Carfin Grotto to show solidarity with our suffering and displaced Christian sisters and brothers around the world – Saturday 20th – Sunday 31st May, 8pm-8am. GLASGOW THE WELCOMING CITY – An event in Glasgow City Chambers on Sunday 7th June at 3pm, The Skirl of the pipes will welcome you to the City Chambers for this annual event with the Lord Provost, Church and Civic Leaders. We will celebrate our diverse cultures and celebrate Glasgow as a welcoming city for those who are seeking refuge and asylum. We will pray for peace in our world, and look forward to embracing the 2026 Commonwealth Games. Enjoy music and song with St Anne’s Denniston, Southside Fiddlers, The St Mungo Ensemble, Ukrainian musicians and singers and the St Mungo singers. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the Satinwood Suite. We look forward to seeing you at this free event.

INTERNATIONAL MASS – Thank you to all those who stayed for our short meeting to prepare the International Mass. There will a final planning meeting on the 31st of May so that everything is prepared for June 7th when we celebrate our Internationality as a parish community.

Pro-Life Mass: The monthly Pro-Life Mass is on Wednesday, 20th May at 7.30pm at Holy Cross, 113 Dixon Ave, G42 8ER. Adoration begins at 6.15pm. Tea in the hall afterwards – all welcome. The celebrant will be Canon Peter McGarry.
