Confessions: Before Sunday Mass
FATHER FRANK BALMER AND FATHER INNOCENT. We welcome Father Frank and Father Innocent from St Paul’s RC Church who became administrator of our Parish and Church from Monday 6th April. Father Balmer may have to make some changes to the way things are done in St Judes but this will be handled sympathetically and will not be done immediately. As Father Balmer gets to know the parishioners and the church he will do his best for our church and of course we parishioners will co-operate as best as we can with him.
READERS – There is a new schedule for readers at the back of the church. If you are a regular reader, please note the dates you are scheduled to take part. Can all readers please inform the pass keepers at the back of the church that they have arrived and that they will be available to read that day. If you cannot come on the specified day another reader will be selected. Anyone who wishes to become a reader in the church should speak to the priest.
GOING FORWARD – There will no longer be a Saturday morning mass in St Jude’s Church.

ARCHDIOCESE NOTICES –
Pro-Life Mass: This month’s Pro-Life Mass is on Wednesday, 15th April. There will be Adoration at 6.15pm followed by Mass at 7.30pm at Holy Cross, 113 Dixon Ave, G42 8ER. Mass will be celebrated by Fr William Crombie. Tea and coffee afterwards. Please come and join us in praying for the cause of life.

Ignatian Spirituality Centre: Guiding Groups in Ways of Prayer. 5 Thursdays – April 23 & 30 and May 7, 14 & 21 2026. 18:30- 20:30.This in house course at the ISC is designed to equip participants with the confidence and practical skills needed to lead small groups in prayer across a variety of settings – parishes, schools, hospitals, chaplaincies, prisons, universities, and online environments. Through engaging and experiential sessions, participants will explore a range of prayer styles, learn effective methods for gathering and facilitating groups, and gain hands-on experience in leading prayer. Whether you’re new to leading prayer or seeking to deepen your skills, this course offers a supportive and practical foundation.
