FAREWELL TO FATHER FRANCIS
Today Easter Sunday is the final mass Father Francis will celebrate in our church. Father Francis has been our parish priest since 2017 and will now take a few weeks break prior to returning to Nigeria. We wish him all the best and thank him for his all he has done in our parish. God Bless you Father Francis.
St Maria Goretti parish are hosting a celebration for Father in their hall after their 11.30am mass today and anyone who wishes to attend would be most welcome.
READERS – There is a new schedule for readers at the back of the church. If you are a regular reader, please note the dates you are scheduled to take part. Can all readers please inform the pass keepers at the back of the church that they have arrived and that they will be available to read that day. If you cannot come on the specified day another reader will be selected. Anyone who wishes to become a reader in the church should speak to the priest.
GOING FORWARD – There will no longer be a Saturday morning mass in St Jude’s Church.

Service of Divine Mercy: All are warmly invited to a Service of Divine Mercy at St. Helen’s Parish, Langside, on Divine Mercy Sunday 12 April, at 3:00pm.This special time of prayer will include the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Reflection, and an opportunity to encounter God’s loving mercy at the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Are you passionate about helping those struggling after abortion? Abortion Recovery Care & Helpline (ARCH) is employing a full-time Operations Administrator to join our team based in Glasgow. ARCH is dedicated to promoting the emotional and psychological well-being of service users, by the provision of counselling and support to women, men and families after abortion. The Operations Administrator we’re looking for will understand this and share our passion for supporting those who are struggling. Ourselves and our service users value excellent listening skills, a compassionate disposition and a place they can open up confidentially and without judgement. The role includes a variety of administrative tasks. Duties of the Operations Administrator include providing support to the Director and Counsellors, assisting in daily admin needs and assisting with the running of our Helpline, which includes liaising with our volunteer Befrienders. A very important aspect of the job is answering calls and emails from our service users, giving them initial support and more information about our services. This is a unique opportunity to work in a meaningful and rewarding environment with a growing team dedicated to supporting those struggling after abortion.
