ST JUDE CLUB – The winner of the St Jude Club draw on Sunday 19th October was number 32 – Paul Harvey. He won £24.00
ST VINCENT DE PAUL – SSVP Society of St Jude’s Church are looking for new members to join. At present there are only three members. If you are interested in joining the Society please speak to Father Francis.
NOVEMBER LISTS – The November lists are available at the back of the church. Please feel free to add the name of your deceased relatives. The lists will be placed on the altar during the month of November and the dead will be prayed for at each mass.
R.C.I.A – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults – The R.C.I.A group meets every Monday at 3pm in the Parish Hall. Please pray for our one adult who is inquiring about the Catholic Faith – Thank you.
REMEMBRANCE MASS – Mass will be offered on Sunday 1st November for the souls of the departed whose funerals were held during the past year

Holy Cross Crosshill and St Brigid’s Toryglen Mass Times: New timetable for Masses at Holy Cross, Crosshill and St Brigid’s Toryglen, beginning weekend of 18/19 October: St Brigid’s Toryglen Vigil Mass at 4pm; Sunday Morning: Holy Cross at 10am and 11.30am in St Brigid’s. Weekday Masses: Holy Cross: Monday 6pm, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 9.30am. (Services of Word and Communion at 9.30am on Monday and Wednesday). St Brigid’s: 10am every morning except Tuesday and Saturday. Weekday Masses will be subject to which parish has a funeral.
If you are a taxpayer, you might want to consider using the donation envelopes and signing up for Gift Aid which allows the church to reclaim tax on your donations. If you Gift Aid your collection, we can claim back from the government 25p for every £1 you donate. Any persons who want to sign up should speak to Father Francis to complete the appropriate form which is basically just your name address and NI number.
