| REFLECTION | ||
| In the Bible, Wisdom is the reflection of God’s divine wisdom. Although we need to seek for it, God is only too eager to share His Wisdom with all, true seekers. Paul explains the final coming as similar to a Roman emperor’s triumphal procession. He passes on his firm confidence that it will occur to his readers, to all those listening to his letters being read out. When all this occurs is not relevant. What is important is that we will be reunited in joy with others. Matthew is saddened by the lack of preparation shown by the ‘foolish virgins’. who have attended the wedding banquet without their good works, to burn in their torches. They have instead turned up at this most joyful of times unprepared, like the wedding guest, from a previous Sunday gospel reading, who did not even bother wearing the wedding garment he had been provided with. How do we seek God’s Wisdom? Eagerly or half heartedly? I we are invited to the final wedding feast will you and I be ready, or scrambling at the last minute? | ||

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR JOSEPHINE BONNER. Her body will be received at 6:00 pm on Monday 13th November, with her requiem mass being celebrated at 09:30 am on Tuesday 14th November 2023, before the committal at Daldowie Crematorium.
