SECOND COLLECTION – Will be taken up next Sunday, June 1st for Communications Sunday.
Circle of Friends for children preparing to make First Communion continues this week. Classes for parents and children will take place in the church / hall and will begin at 6.30pm. Every child hoping to be presented for the Sacrament must attend and must be represented at the Parents’ Meeting.
THE CELEBRATION OF FIRST COMMUNION WILL TAKE PLACE NEXT SUNDAY 1ST JUNE.
Celebration of our Internationality – People who took flyers for the International Mass are asked to return them with their contact details. Flyers are still available for anyone who wishes to help
We will have a meeting after mass on Sunday 8th June at which we can arrange who will carry out the various ministries, Welcomers, Readers, Music, Gift Bearers, Food for the Agape etc. Readings and Bidding Prayers will be distributed in English!
We will have a final meeting after mass on Sunday 15th June to finalise and check everything is in place for our Annual International Feast!

FATHER FRANCIS – Is going to Medugorje on Wednesday 28th of May and will return the following Wednesday. Father Franco of the Comboni fathers will cover mass of the Ascension of Thursday 29th May and the Saturday mass, Please note Ascension Thursday is a holy day of obligation. Father Javier will cover Sunday for the First Communions and there will be no mass on Tuesday 3rd June.
ST JUDE LOURDES PILGRIMAGE – The pilgrimage will depart from St Jude’s Church on Sunday 15th June at 8.00am. Mass will be offered by Father John Gannon at 6.45am prior to departure. Parishioners would be very welcome at the mass. There will be a basket placed on Our Lady’s altar for petitions which will be placed at the Grotto in Lourdes.
