| REFLECTION |
| Moses reminds the Israelites how God fed them during their travels in the Wilderness .. everything that came from the mouth of God, Holy Wisdom itself. Paul insists that the Eucharist be the same for all the participants, not different for rich and poor. Jesus gently, but firmly insisted that whoever would eat His flesh and drink His blood would live in Jesus and draw life from Him. How does receiving Christ’s Body and Blood in the Holy Eucharist help us experience this reality? How do I allow Christ to mould my life to His? |

2023 DIOCESAN MARRIAGE PREPARATION DAYS The next preparation day for those approaching matrimony will be held in the autumn on Saturday 16th September 2023. Its location is still to be determined.
RAISING DOUGH FOR MARY’S MEALS, THIS JUNE Prayers continue to be requested for the work of Mary’s Meals, that God might bless their work. TUESDAY 13th JUNE – St Anthony of Padua. A gentle preacher and patron of the lost and found.
FRIDAY 16th JUNE IS THE SOLEMNITY OF THE MOST SACRED HEART OF JESUS. Deuteronomy 7: 6-11 assures us that God has an unconditional love for his people and has chosen them. John’s first letter rejoices that love comes from God, and encourages us to love another. Matthew 11:25-30 describes Jesus as always ready to shoulder our yoke, lift the burdens from us for His yoke is easy, and His burden light.
SATURDAY 17TH JUNE IS THE MEMORIAL OF THE IMMACULATE HEART OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY. She was her Son’s first follower, first
disciple, devoted mother, trusting in what she did not understand, growing strong in her unswerving Faith, which prepared her for her commission at the foot of the Cross.
