FATHER FRANCIS RETURN – Father Francis will return on 12th February all going well. Hopefully he has had a good holiday and returns rested for the year ahead.
COMBONI FATHERS – Thank you to the Comboni Fathers who have been covering the parish and masses during Father Francis’ holiday. We are very grateful that they are able to help as there is a great shortage of priests in the Archdiocese.
PREPARATIONS FOR SACRAMENTS –
The next meeting will be 12th February and the final meeting will be two weeks later on 26th February. Confirmation will be celebrated on Thursday 27th February 2025.
SUNDAY CAFÉ –
Is on after mass every Sunday and it would be lovely if more parishioners attended. It is a good opportunity to visit with each other and have a chat.
GIFT AID –
At present only a handful of parishioners use the gift aid envelopes, and we would encourage any taxpayer to consider signing up for it. You simply put you collection money in the envelopes provided and the church receives 25 pence back from the Inland Revenue for every pound you donate. If you are interested in signing up there are forms in the sacristy. Please speak to a pass keeper or Father Francis for assistance.
